Set up hiring approvals

Require sign-off on jobs and offers before they go live, and control who approves what.

Configure approval rules

As an admin, set approval rules per type — job, offer, or a default: - Build the approval chain as an ordered list of approvers (by role or a specific person). - Set a CTC escalation threshold so higher-value offers pick up an extra approval step.

How approvals flow

1. A job or offer is submitted for approval and enters Pending approval.
2. It goes to the current approver. Each approver in turn can approve (advance to the next step) or reject.
3. When the final step approves, the item goes live — a job becomes active, and an offer becomes Sent to the candidate.
4. A rejection sends it back — a job returns to draft, an offer is rejected.

Approvers see what's waiting on them in their pending approvals. Every decision is recorded in the activity trail.

When to contact support

If approvals route to the wrong approver, or an approved item doesn't go live, raise a ticket describing the configured chain vs what happened.
