What the AI co-pilot can do

โœฆ AI Co-PilotUpdated 2026-07-15

The AI co-pilot is an in-app assistant that answers HR, payroll, and compliance questions using your company's own data and Kredily's knowledge base โ€” so answers are grounded in your actual policies and records, not generic guesses.

What you can ask it

The co-pilot is built for the kinds of questions employees and admins ask support every day: - HR questions โ€” leave policy details, how a process works, where to find something in Kredily. - Payroll questions โ€” understanding a payslip, how a deduction was calculated, when payroll runs. - Compliance questions โ€” how statutory deductions like PF, ESI, or professional tax apply, in general terms.

Where it has access to your company's data, it can also answer questions specific to you โ€” for example, your own leave balance โ€” rather than only giving generic policy explanations.

How it stays scoped to you

The co-pilot answers within your role and permissions. An employee asking about their own payslip gets their own data; they won't be able to use the co-pilot to see another employee's private information, and an admin-level question won't be answered for someone without admin access. It draws on the same knowledge base as Kredily's help center, plus your organization's configured company data, so answers stay relevant to how your organization has set things up.

What it isn't

The co-pilot is an assistant for understanding and navigating Kredily โ€” it doesn't replace approvals, submissions, or admin actions that require a person to make a decision. For example, it can explain how expense approval works, but it won't approve a claim on someone's behalf.

Common issues

  • Answer seems generic, not specific to my company โ€” the co-pilot may not have access to the relevant company data for that question; try rephrasing, or check with your admin whether that data is configured.
  • Co-pilot won't answer a question โ€” it may be outside what it's scoped to answer for your role, or the topic isn't covered by available data/knowledge base content.

When to contact support

If the co-pilot consistently gives an answer that contradicts your company's actual policy or data, raise a ticket with the exact question asked and the answer given.
