Notifications on the mobile app

โ–ข Mobile AppUpdated 2026-07-15

The mobile app sends notifications for the things that need your attention or update you on requests you've made โ€” approvals, payslip releases, and reminders.

What triggers a notification

Common notifications include: - A leave or expense request you submitted being approved or rejected. - A new request from your team waiting on your approval, if you're a manager. - A payslip being released for a completed payroll month. - Reminders, such as an upcoming regularization deadline or a pending review during an active performance cycle.

Exactly which notifications you receive depends on your role and what your organization has enabled.

Turning notifications on

  1. When you first install the app, allow the notifications permission when prompted.
  2. If you missed that prompt, enable notifications for the Kredily app from your phone's system Settings.

Not receiving notifications

If approvals or updates are happening but you're not seeing alerts on your phone: 1. Check the app's notification permission is still allowed in your device settings. 2. Check you're not in a Do Not Disturb mode that's silencing the app. 3. Force-close and reopen the app, and confirm you're on the latest version.

Common issues

  • Notifications delayed, not missing โ€” some notifications batch or take a few minutes to arrive; check the in-app notification list, which usually updates faster than the push alert.
  • Getting notifications for things that don't apply to you โ€” check your role/permissions with your admin; you may be included in an approval chain you don't expect to be in.

When to contact support

If notification permissions are enabled correctly but you're consistently missing alerts for things confirmed to have happened (e.g. an approval you can see in-app), raise a ticket with your device type and app version.
