Set up KredEYE face-recognition attendance
KredEYE is Kredily's face-recognition attendance option โ employees clock in by looking at a camera instead of a physical punch or manual check-in. It's configured on your attendance rule, alongside your existing tracking methods.
Enable KredEYE (admin)
- Open the Attendance module and go to the relevant attendance rule.
- Choose the KredEYE / face-recognition tracking option.
- Decide which additional checks apply alongside face recognition โ most organizations pair it with geo-fencing (the employee must be within the office radius) and/or selfie validation as an extra layer.
- Save the rule. Employees assigned to it will need to be enrolled before they can clock in with KredEYE โ see Enroll faces for KredEYE.
How employees use it
Once enrolled, an employee opens the attendance clock-in screen (web or mobile) and the camera captures their face to confirm identity and log the punch. If geo-fencing is also enabled, the punch only registers when they're within the configured radius.
Choosing validation modes
KredEYE can run with different combinations depending on how strict you want clock-in to be: - Face recognition alone โ fastest, relies purely on the enrolled face match. - Face recognition + geo-fence โ also confirms the employee is on-site. - Face recognition + selfie validation โ adds a secondary check, useful where camera conditions vary (lighting, angle) or fraud is a concern.
Pick the combination that matches your office setup and policy; you can adjust it later on the same attendance rule.
Common issues
- Employees can't clock in with KredEYE โ confirm they're enrolled; an unenrolled employee has no face on file to match against.
- Face not recognized reliably โ see Face clock-in troubleshooting for lighting, angle, and re-enrollment steps.
- Punch rejected despite correct face โ geo-fence or selfie validation may be failing separately; see Geo-fencing and selfie validation.
When to contact support
If KredEYE is enabled and employees are enrolled but clock-ins still fail consistently, raise a ticket with the attendance rule name and an example employee.
