Enroll faces for KredEYE

Before an employee can clock in with KredEYE, their face needs to be enrolled — a reference capture that later clock-ins are matched against.

Enrolling an employee (admin)

1. Open Attendance and find the KredEYE enrollment option for the employee (or bulk enroll a group at once if your organization has many employees to onboard together).
2. Capture the employee's face — ask them to look directly at the camera in good, even lighting, without a mask or heavy accessories covering their face.
3. Confirm the capture and save. The employee is now enrolled and can clock in via KredEYE once their attendance rule has the option enabled.

Good enrollment practices

• Enroll in well-lit conditions close to what the employee will clock in under daily — avoid strong backlight (e.g. a bright window behind them).
• Ask employees to remove sunglasses or anything obscuring their face during enrollment.
• If someone's appearance changes significantly (e.g. a very different hairstyle affecting recognition, though this is usually not an issue), re-enrollment can improve match reliability.

Re-enrolling someone

If an employee is consistently failing face match despite correct lighting and camera use, re-enrolling them with a fresh capture often resolves it — the original reference photo may have been taken under poor conditions.

Common issues

• Enrollment capture keeps failing — check camera permissions on the device being used to enroll, and try in better lighting.
• Employee enrolled but still can't clock in — confirm their attendance rule actually has the KredEYE option turned on; enrollment alone doesn't enable the feature.
• Wrong person matched — rare, but if it happens, re-enroll both employees involved and report it to support.

When to contact support

If enrollment completes successfully but the employee's clock-ins are still rejected or mismatched, raise a ticket with the employee ID.
